Representative Players

Michael Lynagh plied his trade for the University of Queensland before being selected for Queensland and Australia.

The University of Queensland Rugby Football Club has been a breeding ground for representative players at both a State and National level.

Since its foundation in 1911, the Rugby Club has produced 60 players that have represented Australia (eight as captain) and over 200 players that have represented Queensland.

While the womens team has only been a part of the Club since 1994, our female players are equally successful in achieving higher honours with 11 reprensenting Australia and 24 players representing Queensland.
