UQRFC FUNCTION FACILITIES
The University of Queensland Rugby Football Club (UQRFC) has a large function facility available for hire to Club members and the general public located at the St Lucia campus. Featuring a large Clubhouse, concrete courtyard and spacious balcony overlooking the main rugby and athletics field, it is perfectly positioned for your next event.
The venue can cater up to 700 people across the Clubhouse, courtyard, and balcony space. The clubhouse will seat 120 guests around 12 round tables of 10 and upwards of 250 guests for a cocktail function. The courtyard can accommodate 400 guests for a standing function and another 60 guests on the balcony.
The venue features a full stocked bar and can cater specifically for your event. Although there is not a kitchen onsite, we work exclusively with St Leo’s Catering (located on the UQ Campus) to arrange catering options for your event.
Function packages start at $55.00 per person and include
- Complimentary venue hire of the Clubhouse and balcony space,
- Use of in house AV equipment,
- Four hour beverage package including beer, wine and soft drinks, and
- Staff and security costs.
There is the option to add an additional hour (maximum of two additional hours) for $15 per person including the above, or $250 per hour (maximum of two additional hours) and open a cash bar.
