UQ embrace In Touch Mental Health Program

Queensland Rugby Union has been rolling out the In Touch Mental Health program over the last few months, and now UQ Rugby have over eight players, coaches and admin staff with Mental Health First Aid accreditation.

The Club recognises that mental health is just as important as physical health, on and off the field. Our mental health officiers have been trained to help talk to you about how your feeling and point you in the right direction if you need help.

There is no shame in saying “I need help”, and UQ Rugby want to make it normal. We are all here for each other.

Club, team, self.

If you’re struggling with your mental health, please reach out to Jason Greenhalgh, Stuart Hubbert, Laura Mitchell, Georgia Franklin, or any other of our mental health first aiders.
